Getting To Know Jesus
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus the Christ isn't merely a figure from the annals of history. He is alive and active! He is the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world, and a divine manifestation of God's love for humanity. Born fully God and fully man, His birth was foretold in many ancient prophecies in scripture, a promise that God would provide a path to salvation for all.
Jesus taught love, sacrifice, and service, transforming lives through His wisdom and grace. Miraculous acts followed His ministry—feeding the multitudes, healing the sick, raising the dead—demonstrating His divine power and benevolence.
However, His mission was not just about teaching and performing miracles. Jesus willingly gave up His life on a cross, a brutal death that served as payment for the sins of the world. This act of love was God’s way to allow every one of our misdeeds to be laid on Him, even though He never committed sin Himself.
But Jesus' power over sin was fully manifested when He rose from the dead three days later, conquering the forces of sin and death once and for all. Now, He reigns as the head of His church and will return as the judge at the end of time. He invites all who believe in Him to find peace in Him.
